Dimora del Giglio is a stylish and peaceful villa located in a picturesque, rural setting surrounded by ancient olive groves and only 5km from the ‘White City’ of Ostuni. The property is ideal for a large family and can sleep up to 10 guests. It consists of a main house (Dimora) with a spacious living room featuring a double sofa bed, dining area and separate kitchen. There are two double bedrooms each with their own ensuite bathrooms with doors leading out to the olive grove. There is also a third guest bathroom off the main corridor.
Across the pool, there is an independent annex (Lamia) with it’s own porch, two double bedrooms (one with twin beds) and another separate bathroom.
Outside, there is a stunning private garden with a 60 sq m pool surrounded by a lush lawn, native shrubs and flowers as well as pomegranate, cherry and fig trees. Behind the house is a beautiful, private olive grove set in an acre of land . The house is perfect for entertaining al fresco and has a fully-equipped outdoor kitchen with gas barbecue, stove, fridge and a large dining table facing the gardens and pool. There is another shaded gazebo area with a large corner sofa, ideally situated for an evening aperitif.
The house is only a 35 minute drive from Brindisi airport and a 20 minute drive to the beach.

Its gentle countryside is criss-crossed by dry-stone walls and dotted with trulli – distinctive cone-shaped farm buildings . Rising above the olive groves and vineyards are the whitewashed hill towns of Cisternino, Ceglie Messapica, Locorotondo, Martina Franca and the Unesco world heritage town of Alberobello.

Thanks to Puglia’s long slender shape you’re never far from the sea and the beaches near Ostuni are among the most beautiful in Italy. Known as the Marina di Ostuni, the area comprises 20 kilometers of coastlines and uncontaminated vegetation . Here, you can find a wide range of wild beaches, as well as furnished beaches for family days out.
Moreover, for several years this area has consistently received the prestigious Blue Flag beach award for the cleanliness of its sea and the quality of the services available along the coast.
Quarto di Monte
Quarto di Monte is a charming small beach not far from Villanova port. It is accessible taking a small road from the village of Monticelli. It is a well known beach by the locals because during the hot summer evenings there is a night bar for lovely nights out next to the beach.
Lido Morelli
Lido Morelli is located on a lovely, long stretch of sand with dunes and Mediterranean vegetation. The beach offers a serviced area with sunbeds and umbrellas as well as a free beach.
Torre Guaceto
Slightly further along the coast towards Carovigno , is the Natural Marine Reserve of Torre Guaceto which is also a WWF protected area. The beach is characterized by fine white sand and crystal clear waters
